The USS Melvin (DD-680), known as the Blue Devil, was a Fletcher-class destroyer used during World War II. It hit the Pacific in 1944 and earned 10 battle stars for its heroic service. This impressive model is more than 3 feet in length. The new lidded box displays vintage art from the original 1960s release. Collectors will want a copy just to display. The decals and painting instructions included enabling the modeler to choose from several authentic variations.
